Happy Halloween

What a great weekend.  First, I got a care package from my best friend in Oregon.  She sent it all this way, with a new bag (she made herself) and new booties and a long letter.

Then, we had some fabulous family time at a nearby Halloween event, with bouncies and treats and all.  And we even ran into a friend of my son’s (and wouldn’tyaknowit, they were both darth vadors!).

Then, of course, it was time for the real Halloween events.  Pumpkin scooping and trick or treating and then trading the loot.

Note the pumpkins – they designed them themselves.  The top one only has one eye.  Too funny!

Hope you had a great weekend, too.

  1. I found this post on WordPress parenting tags, but I really look forward to following your gardening journey next year when I’m planting mine!

This is the first year we grew vegetables, and I learned so much about which ones we should have grown more of, which ones we could have done without, etc.
