I’m addicted to thrifting.
Today, I found a few fabrics I don’t know what to do with. Here they are:
Frame them? Cover a little chair with the toile fabric? Pillow covers?
i think the asian inspired woul be a very nice accent pillow with some silky fringe around it.
i remember the mushroom fabric from the early 70’s. hoy ’bout an apron? fyi…some folks still wear them….not the full kind but the half ones like my dm used to wear. or maybe a smock….i remember having to wear smocks when we finger painted in kindergarden, which for me was in 1957…..yikes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gosh I love that mushroom fabric! How about making cloth napkins with them?
Thanks for all of the ideas. apron. check. cloth napkins. check. frame them. check. cover other fabric. check. so much to do…

I'm a mom. I'm not a mom that wears mom jeans. Or do I? They're kind of the next new thing and I like that.
I have two kids, two dogs, a husband, and a house in the burbs in midwest US of A.
My favorite TV shows are Project Runway, True Blood, Boardwalk Empire, and everything on Bravo (guilty!!!). As for music, Bjork is my gal.
I knit and take photos and dabble in a few (thousand) other hobbies.
I consider myself a city slicker, but eventually I'd like to live on a farm, making my own wool and growing my own food. I doubt it'd ever happen though, so that's my plan for my next life.
I used to be new to the world of blogs, but not anymore. I thoroughly enjoy reading random thoughts by random peeps.
Leave a comment and I'll stop by your blog, too.
